The Medical and Military Drone Industry
Farada Group is a Polish technology company specializing in the design and manufacture of advanced VTOL-class unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used in both civilian and military applications—ranging from medical transport, through photogrammetry and inspections, to the protection of critical infrastructure.
The company is carrying out a strategic contract with the Military Institute of Armament Technology to build the “Wartownik” system—a comprehensive solution for monitoring and protecting strategic areas—which is scheduled for completion in the middle of the fourth quarter of 2026. Ligatio P.S.A. is a Warsaw-based technology company that develops advanced medical materials for orthopedics and digital dentistry, replacing outdated solutions (such as traditional casts) with modern, patient-friendly, and scalable products. Its flagship product, poliwater™—a lightweight, waterproof, and X-ray-transparent immobilizing dressing—has already been registered as a medical device in the CE/EUDAMED system and is generating its first commercial revenue. REAKTO is a Kraków-based startup developing infrastructure for unmanned aerial vehicles under an Anything-as-a-Service model, serving as both the manufacturer and operator of its solution. The company’s flagship project is the Rapid Response Drone Network—a rapid-response system based on a network of drones and docking stations, designed for security agencies as well as private, commercial, and critical infrastructure facilities.
The company has conducted pilot projects with leading security firms (including Seris Konsalnet, Taurus Ochrona, and VIP Security System) as well as local governments, and raised over 1 million euros in a funding round, including from strategic investor AMM Global. REAKTO plans to further commercialize the service and expand into dual-use technologies.
